This Elizabethan costume is in brocade and leather with pearl and lace details. Separate sleeves in gold and black tissue with brocade hanging sleeves. Underskirt is in gold and black tissue, lace and pearl hand made ruff with wired pearls and lace headdress. The underchemise, corset, petticoats and farthingale are constructed to a historically accurate design. The detail of the ruff is shown below. The photo is by Ben French.
